Our Senior Consultant David Hyde commented on a National Post story titled: Cannabis producers destroyed a record amount of unsold product last year. The story was featuring online and in print across Canada.
One of the key takeaways of the article is that data provided by Health Canada show that more than 425 million grams of unpackaged dried cannabis were destroyed between January and December 2021. That’s 26 per cent of the total dried cannabis produced.
